We have virtually hourly updates (daily pep-talks from our Canadian Prime Minister giving away yet more money) and unending analysis of how it is our duty to follow the instructions of the “health authorities”. COVID-19 [Novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV] As of today 17 February 2020, the number of recorded cases of this virus has exceeded 71,000 and the number of deaths beyond 1,700 (a little over 2%). As so many resources are publishing their immediate understanding of the outbreak and the media is in a frenzy of fear mongering, I figured I might as well get my two-bits worth into the midst of the chaos.
