The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.” – Cicero, 55 BC

My Dear Colleagues, Friends and Supporters,
Well, that old American shampoo saying of “wash, rinse, repeat” certainly applies today just as that Santanya/Churchill quote about “those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it”. What an incredible period of time we are living through. I feel privileged to be able to watch with wonder as history changes before our eyes. Change is never easy, and while never easily accepted, it brings both up-lifting historical (re)actions and the fear of dangerous consequences.
After so many years deeply involved in this amazing field of biological medicine, I have become a bit of a fan of – and to be honest a participant in – the historical runup to the natural methods and knowledge that we work with on a daily basis in our practices. Hope shines bright that perhaps there will not only be acknowledgment for natural methods within the political and economic changes we are seeing on a daily basis, but also recognition and the acceptable (economic) incorporation of those methods into regular practice. Perhaps I’m a bit starry eyed, but all these years later this is the first time I have felt encouraged to believe it’s possible.
I won’t be taking you on a sentimental journey today though. If you’re interested in more of the history of these forms of medicine, I often give my lecture on that topic at Dr. Simon Yu’s AMA Seminar/Workshops in St. Louis, MO (another one coming up soon). Or, there is an abbreviated print version available through the P2P website. Instead, what I am going to do this month is lead you through some of the newer publications and articles, many of which are looking at COVID with a documentary and “backward” looking perspective. Let us then consider the current push toward Bird Flu in light of that retrospective knowledge. Are “they” at it again? Will that pandemic scenario be successfully utilized worldwide again?
To begin, I want to recommend another book. In an article on Natural News by Belle Carter we once again confront the theory and challenge to conventional germ theory. “The Contagion Myth: Why Viruses Are Not the Cause of Disease” by Dr. Thomas S. Cowan and Sally Fallon Morell brings us back to the argument that viruses are not the primary cause of diseases but are instead exosomes – particles released by cells to detoxify and adapt to stress. Please follow this link to see information about Dr. Cowan’s book on Amazon.
This is very similar to the theory developed by Dr. Helmut W. Schimmel prior to his passing in 2003. Called Infection and Fragmentation Phases of Viral Illnesses, it was originally published in 2002-3 by Dr. Schimmel, and then again by Dr. Reinhard Bayerlein in 2006. (These articles will again be available on the new OIRF website when it goes live.)
To summarize my thoughts on this topic for now, I would like to reiterate that it is in times-like-these when we need to pay attention to such radical theories:
- at a time when we are not in the midst of a pandemic where there is already widespread controversy and censorship bringing sneering disdain instead of curiosity to the concept
- at a time when there is impending change in the corruption and corporatism of the Big Pharm companies
- at a time when we are looking forward to an overhaul of the healthcare industry
- at a time perhaps when actual scientific studies can be considered!
But, I’ll step down off the soapbox again. I do feel this is an opportunity to re-look at the premises that conventional medicine is based on. Let’s see if I can remember the gist of the quotes:
The French Chemist Louis Pasteur in cooperation with the German physician H.H. Robert Koch claimed that “disease arises from germs outside the body and microbes were to be ‘feared’ ”. Even today the Robert Koch Institute in Germany is the icon of orthodox conventional medicine
Then Claude Bernard, a physiologist and contemporary (rival) of Pasteur famously stated that “The microbe is nothing. The terrain is everything”.
And a few years later in cooperation with Antoine Béchamp (another chemist rival of Pasteur) they stated that “disease was a condition of imbalance of the internal terrain of the body”.
I’d say there is some history there how germ theory became the modus operandi for orthodoxy while terrain theory fell into the ranks of those who insisted on using natural medicine and quacks. Again – let us quacks stand up and be heard this time around! Here are some positive recommendations and suggestions:

Orthomolecular Medicine in the MAHA Revolution: Redefining Modern Healthcare
Please follow this link for the full exceptional article by the new editor of Orthomolecular Medicine News.
“In recent years, a growing movement has begun to question entrenched paradigms in Western medicine and its related industries. Influential voices aligned with the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) movement, under the leadership of RFK Jr., are urging a radical re-examination of systems that critics argue prioritize profit and dogma over genuine patient care. At the forefront of this transformative wave, orthomolecular medicine plays a pivotal role in redefining approaches to health by emphasizing the correction of biochemical imbalances as a cornerstone for true healing. RFK Jr.’s advocacy has not only amplified the call for reform but has also marked a historical moment for the healthcare profession – a moment to return health to the public and to drain the swamp of the healthcare industry.”
Anyway – sorry – I’ve started ranting again. For the rest I’ll try to stick to the details and get it laid out so you can find what draws your interest and what doesn’t. I get it – we’re all busy so here’s the “mustard seeds” I try to include each month.

A follow up to the Global Research article on 14 Feb. 2025 I mentioned last month, and a very sorry indictment of our Canadian government and healthcare system.
According to the Western Standard, Interior Health has not restored Hoffe’s hospital privileges. The Epoch Times reported that Hoffe, now 66, will not try to resume his former emergency room duties.
“My wife and my children left me over this whole thing that has been dragging on,” Hoffe said. “My problems with Interior Health and the college were the last straw in my marriage, and broke it because it made my wife feel so unsafe that I was standing up against the government.”

Vaccines – Reassessing Their Relevance
“These historical and methodological considerations should inform current debates on vaccine policy. For benefits to be weighed against risks, benefits must be clearly understood and quantifiable without resort to questionable assumptions. Given that some vaccines are exempt from manufacturer liability in certain jurisdictions, and considering both known and potential risks, many medical professionals and community members advocate for:
- Open scientific discussion including dissenting viewpoints
- Strong informed consent protocols
- Non-coercive vaccination policies
- Continued investigation into vaccine utility and safety,
- Support for alternative approaches such as supplementation with essential nutrients.
The goal explored here is not to dismiss vaccines as a public health tool but to encourage re-examination of some of the assumptions which have long underpinned their use, and promote a more realistic, evidence-based evaluation of their benefits and limitations within the broader context of public health improvements.”

‘They’ Want to MURDER Your Cats . . . And They’re Attempting to Make a Case For It Using ‘Scientists’ And ‘Journalists’ To Scare You Into Allowing Them To Do So
Please follow this link for full article. Bird Flu and historical benefits of cats!
But before you blow this one off – I’m not just a crazy old cat lady here. This is interesting. It sends me back to the book Justinian’s Flea; Plague, Empire and the Birth of Europe, by William Rosen (dry history in some ways, but then there’s a link). One of the main premises of the book is that there was the terrible persecution and fear of “witches” and their medium, the cat. Millions of cats were killed, burned and tortured along with their mistresses. But it was a time when there was Black Plague – a scourge that killed millions of people even in those times. Part of the problem as figured out by the Emperor Justinian, was that because of the disappearance of cats there was an overpopulation of rats (and other rodents), and it was the rats that carried the fleas that spread the plague. Another little history lesson, and that’s why this one caught my attention!

Moving on . . .
Here are my two new contributions from Praxis2Practice for this month:
- New: Foreign Materials In The Body: How We Can Avoid Allergies and Chronic Diseases, by Carola D’Mexis, HP. Allergies, inflammations, chronic complaints – how do you find out whether input exogenous materials are the reason for this? And is it really effective to remove the materials? Studies and practical experience encourage those affected. Read more here.
- New: Autoimmune Disease? Solution: Prevention!, by Isolde Riede, HP. Autoimmunity is one of the most common diseases today – depending on the affected tissue, a wide variety of signs of disease can appear. But the cell biology and biochemistry hidden behind it are always the same. Our author – cancer researcher Isolde Riede – goes in search of clues and also comes across the reason for elevated cholesterol levels. Read more here.
And, finally here’s a closing quote from one of my political newsletters that I thought applicable for us as well with no further comment:

Conspiracy Theorists Were Right About Everything,
Please follow this link for full article.
“For many years alternative economists and “conspiracy theorists” have argued that, according to the evidence, there has been an organized criminal cabal operating a long-running agenda to exploit and eventually destroy western culture. We have suggested that much of this agenda was being funded with our own tax dollars while using government institutions and NGOs as vehicles for social engineering.
In the 20 years since I started work in the liberty movement (or patriot movement), I have seen corruption beyond imagining and it all culminated in 2020-2023 when many of us battled against the imposition of total medical tyranny and mass woke indoctrination. Even after that startling Orwellian period we were still called conspiracy theorists, but public awareness is changing rapidly.
I’ve seen enough to know that what is happening today is truly unprecedented. We have entered a crossroads; a time when reality is no longer discarded for the sake of collective comfort and “conspiracy” becomes historic fact. It’s an exciting time to be alive, but also potentially hazardous.”
The bold emphasis is mine, but “Hear, Hear”. With all best wishes I think I better stop for this month . . .
