A Paradigm Shift?
16 February 2026
Dear friends, colleagues and supporters,
“In the bleak midwinter”, as one of our Christian hymns begins, we often turn to gray thoughts during the gray days of February. Over the past 4 to 5 years, I’ve struggled to keep up with all the advancing technology. Learning about websites with categories and tags and uploading vs downloading along with correct ways to format for digital presentation instead of on printed paper. During this time of “supposed to be retired” (in my ‘70s) I’ve felt compelled to preserve and protect for posterity the amazing legacy of information and research in biological and energy medicine that was developed by Occidental Institute during it’s 46 year history. “Completion” of the OIRF website last year has been a joy of accomplishment, along with an almost overwhelming sense of relief. Whew! I did it.
Now, as I’m too rapidly heading into my ‘80s, I’m working at upgrading and improving accessibility on the Praxis2Practice website as well. This is a much smaller project than OIRF and buoyed by my enthusiastic success with that one, the P2P site is rapidly nearing it’s update goals. Already this month you will begin to see some of the new formatting and presentation. Within the next few weeks (or maybe months) the updated graphics, searchability and presentation will also become a reality. Stay tuned for updates!
Interestingly, as I wandered through these changes and updates in my ongoing efforts to preserve the integrity and historical relevance of those traditional and innovative methods, it seems others were considering similar thoughts and questions. In one recent issue of the IMCJ Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal I ran across not just one – but two – articles by well respected practitioner/authors in our field. It seems I’m not the only one considering how current amazing digital technology advancements are going to affect the future of natural medicine modalities.
First, there is an article from Dr. Jeffrey Bland of Functional Medicine fame called The Paradigm-shifting Future of Health Care: Rise of Predictive, Personalized Lifestyle Medicine (read the full article here). I quote his abstract here:
“For more than a century, the dominant model has been reactive: diagnose disease once symptoms arise, then apply treatments designed to manage or suppress them. But a new model—predictive, personalized, and data-driven—is rapidly emerging. This shift is propelled by the invention of new technologies that have introduced a radically different way of understanding health by integrating massive longitudinal datasets with artificial intelligence, imaging, and biomarker analysis. In doing so, it heralds the beginning of a fundamental redesign of the healthcare system itself.”
According to Dr. Bland: “This emerging model of healthcare is:
- predictive rather than reactive
- preventive rather than interventional
- personalized rather than one-size-fits-all
- data-rich rather than data-scarce
- collaborative rather than hierarchical
- continuous rather than episodic
This is the dawn of a new era in healthcare: not disease care, but health creation.”
Among ourselves, we have been discussing a “paradigm” shift for a long time already. Primarily I’ve considered it from the standpoint of shifting our focus away from chemistry (physical reactive based concept like Dr. Bland mentions) toward physics (an energy predictive, personalized based concept). The aspect of Dr. Bland’s data-driven concept sends my mind back to the early (and current flashy and ultra expensive) attempts at “global diagnostics” – systems like AMSAT, etc. Remember – they claimed to be able to universally diagnose all of your problems individually, but in the end were essentially drawing from a database of information (often of unknown source) and making a predictive assessment based on a bell curve of averages based on age, gender, weight, etc. Now, with the advancements of AI that database of knowledge becomes almost limitless, and use/effectivity depends solely on what is input as instructions to the system. But how – again – does this become personalized to the individual? It’s still the results of a database based on averages. I think the explanation of such systems was that if you had to input the Patient’s gender to run the diagnostic, then it wasn’t testing the individual. I can see AI being extremely useful, but it’s time to look back at our own history within energy and biological medicine again. We still have labs, we still have you the practitioner as the central point of experience and training, and we still have point and medication testing. Now, this becomes personalized.
Dr. Bland’s conclusions quoted above are certainly admirable – and possible. But, again, it is up to us to ensure the biological methods we work with are encompassed within this changing paradigm.
Secondly, in that same journal is an article called The Path Ahead, The Untold/Hidden History of Western Medicine – Part 2 (please read the full article here). This is another one of Dr. Joseph Pizzorno’s always interesting editorial commentaries as the Editor in Chief of IMCJ. I’ve had words with Dr. Pizzorno in the past* – always respectful but definitely strong – and I certainly can appreciate and respect his comments regarding this look at how orthodox medicine has achieved dominance over “alternative” modalities over the decades. I have personally experienced that dominance throughout the decades working within the framework of Occidental Institute. Here is yet another consideration of the needed paradigm shift towards health care. In one instance Dr. Pizzorno gives examples of why so many natural modalities have failed over the decades of technological advancement:
- Too dependent on unique, charismatic leaders
- No academic institutions
- No licensing
- Inadequate documentation
- Inadequate science
- Ineffective organizations
- The American Medical Association was successful in suppressing virtually every movement
And I must agree with him on almost all of those points. While many of those factors are highly accurate, there have now been many changes that are slowly altering the overall picture. I quote here his Conclusion:
“First, my apologies to the many brave and visionary men and women who helped create these movements over the centuries who were not noted here. Please, please help increase their recognition by writing Letters to the Editor. My thesis is simple: we need a balance of both sides of medicine: disease medicine and health medicine. This is not a new perspective. Heroic clinicians, researchers, and advocates have repeatedly tried to establish this balance and many paid a heavy price for going against the orthodoxy and vested interests. A few were successful and changed medicine. But so many of the others paid the price and did not live to see the success of their visions.”
Hear, hear, Dr. Pizzorno. Thank you for your words of understanding. Let us all stand up and make sure that our voices are also heard during this time of transformation and change!
For me personally, I’m doing what I can – to preserve, to protect and to publish – and here are the closing words of the hymn A Bleak Midwinter I referenced above:
What can I give him, Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wise man I would do my part,
Yet what I can, I give him, Give my heart.
Christina Georgina Rossetti, 1872
With that longwinded soliloquy out of the way, back to business. I’ve included a couple of short “Points of Interest” in this month’s translations. One is about Chem Trails, which I find interesting in that it is American companies actually preparing this nonsense of blocking the sun from the planet. I wonder what can possibly go wrong? And the second one is a about a study from South Korean about the increased risk of cancer after COVID vaccination. No cause is confirmed, but based on data from 8.4 million people, how can this be ignored?
And, the two main translations this month are both from recent contributor Philipp Feichtinger, HP. Both articles are about Post-Viral Fatigue and follow one of his earlier articles about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Although these two Post-Viral Fatigue articles are similar, they were published several months apart in two different and separate journals. Thus, they each contain an assortment of “mustard seeds” and I really like how he utilizes applications from a broad array of natural methods. This kind of cooperative approach between modalities can only build effectiveness. Enjoy!

And now sadly, Back to Politics.
I will admit that when Sayer Ji first came onto the scene about a decade ago, I was pretty skeptical about this dude. A lot of his articles were good but “fluffy”. As the years have passed and his online presence and library of previous articles has grown exponentially, his approach has changed and greatly improved. He clearly set off alarm bells when he was included in Covid’s “Disinformation Dozen”, and has suffered for his quite courageous stand. Like so many of us, he has definitely had to “pay his dues”. However, I must also admit I’m not sure how he does it. The current quality and quantity of information and material being published by Sayer Ji and GreenMed Info both through his standard website and his Substack has been almost overwhelming. He now has millions of viewers and subscribers and this is exactly the type of modern digital footprint, or spotlight if you prefer, that our energy medicine needs. This is a much needed spotlight for our field that is clearly well beyond my personal capabilities. Hopefully other organizations (like CHD, Dr. Mercola, etc.) will also continue to bring this informational outreach into the public consciousness.
Although his name is personally on each and every article, I do not understand on a personal level how he has time to do this kind of in depth research, writing, formatting and publication on a daily basis while also being heavily involved with the MAHA movement and Bobby Kennedy. I am not criticizing – not by any means. But I hope his support staff are not only loyal but also well rewarded (he and they deserve it!).
Words and understanding cannot easily convey the evil and corruption that were the architectural basis of the COVID pandemic as described in the following series of articles from Sayer Ji. That the primary entities involved in this project were – at the time – purportedly the “White Knights” riding to our rescue in the guise of “charitable foundations” only adds confirmation of the vile character of the individuals who hatched these schemes. Let us thank and be grateful to Pres. Trump for withdrawing the USA out of the clutches of the WHO – remember that GAVI is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We can also take a look back at the article about foundations from Thomas Hein** about the tentacles of money and power of these individuals. GreenMed Info and Sayer Ji have ongoing articles on this and the related topics as more information is being extracted from the Epstein files.
“Something is surfacing right now that most people don’t have language for. The Epstein files. The names. The scope of what was hidden — not just the acts themselves, but the architecture of silence that made them possible for decades. It is almost too much to hold. And it should be.” Sayer Ji.

As I said last month, although I know there is little we will ever be able to say or do to convince the ”devoted” who believe in the vaccine and so on, this is the documentation that will eventually be written as the history of this time. A very sad commentary.
As I come to the end of my personal commentary for February, I pray that those of you and those with influence will continue to keep our applications of biological and energy medicine a significant part of the paradigm shift that finally appears to be underway.
With all best wishes, be well and be healthy . . .
