Current Status of Long-Covid

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the acute infection was the focus of interest, but since then the perspective has changed. After the infection, impairments may persist in those affected, at both the physical as well as the mental level – the so-called “Long-Covid Syndrome” or “Post-Covid Syndrome”. The healthcare system is doing research on causes and treatment options. In practice it has been shown that previously well-established naturopathic procedures make a positive contribution to the therapy of patients with Long-Covid. Especially the combination of orthodox medicine and naturopathy in the sense of an integrative therapeutic approach can offer a broad spectrum of targeted treatment measures. These measures could do justice to the extent of the consequences of COVID-19 infection with its range of symptoms which patients sometime perceive as very burdensome. Read more here.
